TradeTrans Employees Go the Extra Mile

TradeTrans employees log over 900 miles for Dunkin’ JOY Run to help children in need

Logging over 900 miles for a fundraiser to help under-served children

TradeTrans employees participated in the first-ever Dunkin’ JOY Run. This virtual run and walk event benefited the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation. Throughout the month of August, employees tracked their mileage with the goal of completing 100 miles each.

All proceeds from the Dunkin’ JOY Run go to health and hunger organizations that support children in under-served communities.

“Collectively we walked about 900 miles and exceeded our fundraising goal of $500,” said Janet Deverso, TradeTrans operations manager. “This has been a great and healthy way for employees across our company to do something together.”

Culture and Camaraderie

TradeTrans is about helping people – and not just customers and employees. Recognizing and supporting people who make up our communities is part of the TradeTrans philosophy.

“COVID-19 has limited what we can do as team and this was a fun way to do something together and help kids in need,” said Christian Reyes, TradeTrans warehouse worker.
